The requirements below apply to those students with a 2020-2021 catalog year. Students are required by college policy to follow the major (and minor) requirements found in the catalog in effect at the time they declared their first major. To find your catalog year, please visit your Grades and Academic Records found in myOxy and access the catalog that matches your catalog year.
Students interested in the UEP major are encouraged to take UEP 101 during their first year. It is also recommended to take POL 101 and ECON 101 by the end of the sophomore year.
Though not required for the major, students are also encouraged to take environmental science courses in the Geology department such as: GEO 150, GEO 245, and GEO 255.
